Congratulations to all who submitted Abstracts and those who will be presenting at IGSS! Thank you for sharing your work in Global Surgery!
We are delighted to welcome you to the fourth edition of the annual InciSioN Global Surgery Symposium (IGSS)! Last year, due to the worldwide restrictions brought on by the spread of the SARS-Cov2 virus, our planning committee saw an opportunity to adapt. Thus, IGSS 2020 was the first iteration of the conference to be done virtually in its entirety to great success. This year, with the well-being of the international community in mind, we have decided that our beloved conference will be hosted virtually once again!
IGSS2021 will be a 5-day event inclusive of engaging and thought-provoking sessions and workshops carried by worldwide experts in global surgery. IGSS scientific forum will be a platform for researchers to share their work with a global audience. As part of our commitment to equity registration for IGSS from this year forward will be free for all who are interested in Global Surgery and seek to improve access to safe, timely and affordable surgical care around the globe. Additionally, all sessions will be live translated in multiple languages. We are looking forward to the networking and social sessions to bring the global surgery community closer together and to celebrate the success of top presentations. Finally in closing IGSS2021 we will unveil the host of IGSS2022, which we hope will be in person.
We cannot thank you enough for your interest and support, and we hope to see you this November at IGSS2021!
